Discover Kässbohrer’s Versatility at 66th IAA

Europe’s fastest growing semi-trailer manufacturer Kässbohrer will be exhibiting a set of outstanding examples from its wide product range and presenting its broad semi-trailer services at the upcoming 66th IAA Commercial Vehicles Exhibition.

Kässbohrer will showcase six trailers, each with brand new innovative features at three different locations at the 66th IAA in Hannover, Germany between September 22 and 29, 2016.

The motto of Kässbohrer this year, “Discover Versatility“ points out the competence of Kässbohrer in its power of engineering the Europe’s widest semi-trailer product range, from curtainsiders to tanks and silos, and from low-beds and low-loaders to platform-semi-trailers.

Visitors of Kässbohrer stand will also be able to learn more about its broad and diverse sales and aftersales services, across 24 countries in Europe, including Russia.

World’s largest commercial vehicle trade fair IAA is expected to attract more than 250,000 visitors this year. Organized biennially, IAA is one of the world’s oldest motor vehicle exhibitions, being held since 1897.

At Hall 27, Stand E011, Kässbohrer will exhibit its coil carrier curtainsider, K.SCC X+, along with a 3-axle non-extendable light low-bed, K.SLS.L 3, and finally the Trailer Innovation 2017 applicant 32 m3 Safety Bitumen Tanker, K.STS.SS 32.

In addition, Kässbohrer will present a 2-axle low-loader, K.SLL 2, at Open Area L52.

Kässbohrer’s 60 m3 tipping silo, K.SSK 60, equipped with the Digital Trailer Control system will be exhibited at New Mobility World LIVE, previously known as the Innovation Stage.

Kässbohrer’s giant 90 m3 tipping silo, K.SSK 90, will be exhibited coupled with a DAF truck at Open Area C114.

 

Kässbohrer unveils a new service and a new curtainsider

Europe’s fastest growing semi-trailer manufacturer Kässbohrer came together with its business partners during the Summerfest, held for the 3rd time this year, at its headquarters in Goch Germany on June 30, 2016.

Kässbohrer’s Summerfest 2016 gathered business executives from 13 different countries together, representing the company’s customers and suppliers. Members of VSL-NRW (The German Association for Transport and Logistics – North Rhine Westphalia – Verband Spedition und Logistik Nordrhein-Westfalen e.V.) members also participated in Summerfest 2016, following their mid-year meeting in Kässbohrer’s facility in Goch.

Summerfest 2016 featured the presentation of Kässbohrer’s new after-sales service K-Advance Care and new light maxima curtainsider, K.SCL X+.

Speaking during the Summerfest 2016, at a joint press conference with Dr. Rudiger Ostrowski from VSL-NRW, Kässbohrer’s Executive Board Member for Business Development İffet Türken said, “We are very proud today to be here among our partners. Kässbohrer Light Maxima Curtainsider for More Payload

Kässbohrer has enlarged its product line further with the addition of a new light maxima curtainsider, K.SCL X+.

Kässbohrer’s outstanding expertise in engineering Europe’s widest semi-trailer product range allowed the company to craft another product in reply to the needs of its customers.

Focused on reducing the total cost of ownership for fleet owners, Kässbohrer engineers managed to achieve a further weight reduction. K.SCL X+ is designed to carry more than one ton more payload compared to a standard maxima curtainsider. With a tare weight of only 5,600 kg, the eco-conscious K.SCL X+ reduces the CO2 emission, while maximizing the fuel efficiency. Designed with a neck height of 150 mm, K.SCL X+ offers an inner height of 2,900 mm with roof lifting options.

Coated with KTL, the modular chassis of K.SCL X+ enables an easy configuration of the trailer according to specific needs within surprisingly short lead times.

For enhanced load security, Kässbohrer’s K-Fix multi-lashing load securing system along the sideraves of K.SCL X+, enables the fastening of loads from 236 different lashing points, with each point having 2.5 ton load securing capacity.

Certified according to EN 12642 and VDI 2700, K.SCL X+ is offered with Code XL, Daimler 9.5 Automotive, Beverage Transportation and Octabin Transportation Certification.

Talson Delivers 4 More Trailers To Leatrans Ltd.

Talson Trailer B.V., the leading Dutch expert for box type semi-trailers in Europe, has delivered 4 more Talson TGM TAL semi-trailers with Talfix® to Leatrans, an international shipping, transport and logistics provider.

Headquartered in Limerick City, Ireland, Leatrans International provides transportation services in road, air and sea to and from Ireland, UK and Continenteal & Eastern Europe. Leatrans International harnesses over 100 years of combined staff experience and know-how in freight handling, refrigerated and dry cargo, hazardous goods transport and import/export documentation.

With the delivery of this latest batch Leatrans International now has 14 Talson semi-trailers in total in his fleet.

Attended to the delivery ceremony on 03.11.2015, Mr. Ken leahy, the CEO of Leatrans International stated that they have find the perfect match for double deck loading. Mr Ieahy stated that that the multi-purpose Talfix® enables to combine pallets with different dimensions in one trip in double deck. Consequently, Talson’s Talfix® Technology increases fleet utilization rate in double deck cargo transportation

Kässbohrer introduces new image campaign

Inspired by its history of innovation, Kässbohrer is excited to introduce its new image campaign which highlights the Kässbohrer customer experience.

As Kässbohrer is stepping forward in trailer engineering and customer service to make a difference for its global customer base, the new image campaign embodies Kässbohrer’s customer testimonials.

The campaign series set off with two top executives from Germany’s leading transportation companies. Holder Detzer from Detzer Air Cargo Services GmbH and Bernd Schepers from Imgrund Silologistik GmbH honored us by participating in our new campaign.

Starting from the month of April, our new campaign will begin to appear on both English and German language industrial publications.

 

Talson has taken its place at 65th IAA

The market leader in the European air cargo sector Talson Trailer B.V. is exhibiting its FNA Class ATP certified air cargo semi-trailer for the first time in Hannover at 65th IAA, world’s largest commercial vehicle exhibition. Talson has taken its place in Hall 27, Stand E07.
